Dr. Blickstein has worked closely with Chatham Borough to craft a vision/master plan and zoning tools to support revitalization of the Borough’s industrial areas along the Passaic River as a pedestrian-friendly, multi-modal gateway into the community. As part of this effort, Dr. Blickstein led the public outreach efforts, including preparation of public information materials, and web-based and stakeholder directed public information centers. Dr. Blickstein also designed and facilitated stakeholder focus groups, community open houses, and public hearings. The Master Plan Amendment outlining the vision was adopted in 2013; the zoning to implement the vision was unanimously approved in 2014.
