As a subconsultant to Tetra Tech, SGB has undertaken community land use regulatory audits to analyze how local land use tools can best support and enhance community flood resiliency. Tools considered in the audit include provisions for complete streets and bicycle/pedestrian facilities, stormwater management provisions, open space/natural resource protection and stream buffers, smart growth/mixed-use development outside of flood hazard areas, and flood damage prevention regulations.
